The Staten Island Rebels 11-and-under squad posted a 4-0 record in girls' Fencor AAU Invitational action. Taylor Baggs netted 15 in a 44-22 win over the Fairfax Stars, Ashley Iannacone chipped in 10 in a 54-27 decision over the Connecticut Waves and Kristine Pariseau added 10 in a 45-21 rout of the Pennsylvania Comets.

Pennsylvania Wildcats.

The Staten Island Rebels' 16-and-unders kicked off the Preseason AAU Classic with a pair of wins, outlasting the Virginians 50-47 in overtime before routing the New Jersey Steam 57-37.
Down 11 with five minutes to play, the Staten Island Rebels 16-and-under squad went on an 18-3 run to cop a 42-36 win over the Penn Renegades in the Blue Chip Summer Showcase. Kristen Caban and Ashley Mazzarella combined for 28 points.
Elizabeth Siller poured in 19 in the opener, while in the nightcap, Christie Tomasino netted 15 and Laura Mooney posted 10 assists as the Rebels outscored the Steam 37-9 after the break.
